Budapest Fringe Festival (30 March - 1 April 2007)
The fringe festival is held alongside the Spring Fesitval. It includes both professional and amateur performers. www.budapestfringe.com/
May - June
Budapest Summer Festival (10 June - 31 August 2007)
Open-air music (opera, jazz, rock) and theatre performances are held in Open-air theatres on Margaret Island and in Buda (at Városmajor). http://www.szabadter.hu/en/index.html.

Summer on the Chain Bridge (23 June - 12 August 2007)
Entertainment, international cuisine and a range of folk craft and handiwork on the Chain bridge and on both sides during summer weekends.
Budapest Fair (23 - 24 June 2007)

BudaFest - Summer Music Festival (4 - 27 July 2007)
Held across 3 venues, in the Hungarian State Opera House, Buda Castle District and St. Stephen’s Square, the BudaFest Summer Music Festival is one of Budapest’s most successful cultural events. Sziget Festival (Island Festival) 2006 (8-15 August 2007)

St Stephen’s Day (20 August 2007)
Celebrations include a Jazz festival and fireworks to commemorate the feast day of St Stephen, the 1st King of Hungary and patron saint.
Jewish Summer Festival (25 August - 3 September 2007)
This Jewish cultural festival of music, dance, fine arts and film is the 3rd most popular of the Budapest Festivals. Ravens Apartment is a superb base for the festival, held mainly in the Great Synagogue in Dohány Street. www.jewishfestival.hu/

Autumn Festival (12 - 21 October 2007)

New Year’s Eve in Budapest (30th - 31st December 2007)

New Year’s Eve Gala Ball (31st December 2007)
